Introduction Gatanga Constituency, which is in Thika District - Central Province, consists of
Gatanga Division and Kakuzi Division. The current Member of Parliament is
Hon. Peter Kenneth, Assistant Minister - Planning.

At independence, the Constituency was known as Kandara.
