Board of directors
The following were the founding Directors of Gatanga KWAO:-
- Edward Muriu Kamau – Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
- Hon. Peter Kenneth – MP Gatanga constituency and Assistant Minister for State for Planning, National Development and Vision 2030
- M. Nyambura Kamau – Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
- James Mburu – Businessman (Nairobi)
- Joseph Ndarwa – Businessman (Nairobi)
- Mwangi Kibaiya – Businessman (Nairobi)
- Dr. Anthony Njoroge Monyo – Medical Doctor
The company held its first Annual General Meeting on the 23rd March 2004 whereupon four of the above mentioned directors retired paving way for a new Board made of the following:-

- Dr. Anthony Njoroge Monyo – Medical Doctor
- Mary Anne Mugo – Insurance Official
- Seraphina Ngugi – Business lady (Nairobi)
- Joseph Z. Mwangi – Economics Consultant
- Carolyne W. Mwaura – Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
- Anthony Karanja – Businessman (Nairobi)
- Daniel K. Mwaura – Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the Chairman,
